Follow the instructions below to soften ear wax using olive oil.

Important: do NOT put oil drops into an ear with discharge, grommets in place or if there is a suspected ear drum perforation.

• Lay on your side and place 2-5 drops of olive oil into the ear canal. Allow 10-15 minutes for the oil to soak into your ear canal to help soften the wax.

• To help keep the oil in the ear, gently pack the ear canal with cotton wool smeared with coconut oil.

• Remove cotton wool from ear canal after 30 minutes to 1 hour.
